Our Aesthetics 101 two-day courses are intended for practitioners with minimal or no previous experience performing aesthetic procedure such as Botox, Dermal Fillers, and, Chemical Peels.
The courses are specifically designed to inform practitioners of the basic approach of aesthetic medicine procedures and surgery training. Those with minimal or no previous experience in aesthetic medicine will benefit the most from this course.

Cosmetic Botox® Certification Objectives
Upon completing Aesthetics 101 Botox®, Dysport™ training course the participant should show a proficiency in the following course objectives:
- Botox training at AAAMS teaches the history, action, side effects, and contraindications of Cosmetic Botox
- AAAMS Cosmetic Botox training includes the formulation, preparation, safety, and storage of Botox
- Botox training classes explain the anatomy of facial and neck muscles
- Proper marking and techniques are taught, including the administration to the glabellar region, lateral canthus, and forehead
- Other marking areas include: aesthetic “brow lift”, bunny lines, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, gummy smile, chin, active platysma bands, and decollete.
- AAAMS Botox training also explains the advantages and disadvantages of hyperhydrosis of hands/axillae

Dermal Fillers Certification Objectives
Upon completing Aesthetics 101 Dermal Filler Training course the participant should show proficiency in:
- The pathophysiology of the aging face and anatomy of the facial areas to be treated with dermal fillers.
- Identifying the differences and similarities of various dermal fillers.
- Various indications, side effects, and contraindications of dermal fillers.
- Determining which dermal filler is best for the client.
- How to use dermal fillers for aesthetic enhancement of the face including lips, as well as the rectification of smokers’ and marionette lines.
- How to correct hallow eyes syndrome, sagging cheeks, and receding chin.
- Recognizing the unique characteristics of a cosmetic client.
- Recognizing basic theory and areas of treatment.
- Describing the anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.
- Listing safety issues and complications and assess indications and contraindications for treatment and proper treatment protocols.
- Acquiring the technical skill to perform the injections.
- Developing specific communication techniques to enhance the provider relationship in consultations and treatment settings.
Chemical Peels Certification Objectives
Upon completing Aesthetics 101 Chemical Peels Training course the participant should show proficiency in:
- Describing the anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of aging skin.
- Identifying differences and similarities of various chemical peels.
- Various indications, side effects, and contraindications of chemical peels.
- Fitzpatrick skin Classifications.
- Determining which chemical peel is best for the client.
- How to combine chemical peels with other aesthetic procedure to enhance results.
- How to treat melasma, acne scars, photo-aged skin, post inflammatory hyper pigmentation, and acne break outs.
- Listing safety issues and complications and assess indications and contraindications for treatment and proper treatment protocols.
