Juvederm Training

The Basics of Juvederm Training

If you are looking to offer alternatives to Botox treatments, you may wish to offer a dermal filler, such as Juvederm. Juvederm is a dermal filler that is injected into the face to smooth wrinkles and lines that may add an aged look to one’s face. It is an FDA-approved injectable, and some prefer Juvederm to Botox. It is made of a natural component of connective tissue in the body, and is considered safe and natural, with immediate results. But offering Juvederm is not as simple as obtaining Juvederm – you should also take Juvederm training to ensure that you are following the proper protocol.

First, you should learn the full anatomy and physiology of the face. Certain areas of the face can be treated with dermal fillers, so Juvederm training will teach you these areas and how to treat them. You should also learn the side effects of Juvederm. While there are not many, some can be apparent after treatment, and you should know of them and how to take care of them. This will go a long way in helping you properly take care of your patients. You also need to know how to evaluate your patients and determine whether or not they are good candidates for Juvederm. The last thing you want to do is administer Juvederm to someone who should not receive it. Juvederm training will also show you how to spot common problems with facial wrinkles, so that you can treat them most effectively. This can include sagging cheeks and receding chins. Knowing how to properly administer Juvederm to combat these issues will help you be most effective with your Juvederm treatments.

Proper Juvederm training is available from the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery. The AAAMS aims to provide standardized procedures for administering non-invasive treatments like Botox and Juvederm. Training courses can help you be a better doctor to your patients, and prepare effectively for providing these services from your practice.
