"Volume depletion with facial aging has become increasingly recognized as the primary if not a major mechanism by which the aging process evolves. Facelifting and other traditional dermatology and cosmetic surgery procedures can often time fall far short of the intended aesthetic mark. Facial fat grafting is a vital component to an overall strategy for facial rejuvenation whether as a stand alone procedure or when combined with other techniques, like Suture Suspension Lifting. Our skin care training for dermatology professionals will help you integrate this important technique into your practice.

This medical aesthetics training course will emphasize the details of this new aesthetic model, retraining both the well-taught physician/surgeon and prospective patient how to think about the aging process and how to provide optimal facial rejuvenation. A step-by-step technique that removes the mystery of fat grafting and makes the method explicitly clear and easy to follow will be presented. A volumetric foundation will be outlined that any aging individual can benefit from that does NOT require an artistic eye from the surgeon but is based solely on empiricism will be discussed. Attendees will also be shown a live surgical case and they will be able to perform "Hands On-Training" under the guidance of our DAAAMS Faculty members, many of whom are members of the American Academy of Dermatology."
